What memories do you have of our last decade? What was the best/worst part of those times?
“W”, one of the best President’s the United States ever had, and a strong defender of Israel and one of the few friends of the Jewish People.
what do you call it- the zeros?
we never had a name for that decade, like we did for the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. The 0’s, the naughts, etc. nothing ever caught on.
after jan 1st, 2000, when it was confirmed that there was no apocalypse, the whole Y2K scare thing, evaporated like smoke, after months and months of unnecessary anxiety and apprehension.

By calling it the 2000s, it is difficult to differentiate whether you are referring to the decade or to the century.
When referring to the 1800s or to the 1700s people are generally referring to the century, not just the first decade.

2000s can also refer to the millenium.

on a personal level i got married and had 4 kids in that decade 🙂
