The Wall Street Journal is an international newspaper. It also does the sort of fact-based journalism that was popular in the 20th century, and it distinguishes editorials and opinion columns from news.
What would get their attention would be ridicule, not anger.
More damage was done to news outlets by Trump’s “Fake news” then any complaining or well phrased retorts.
