Did Haman’s Hat Really Have 3 Corners? Where is the source for this myth?
Yes. If you look in the archives this question has been asked and there have been many reputable sources brought to confirm this.

I’ve always pictured Haman’s hat as resembling George Washington’s hat (which also had three corners).

According to arts and crafts porojects I have seen from preschools at the top Yeshivas in the US, it was Moshe Rabbeinu who wore a shtreimel.
The eirev rav wore Borsalinos.
And Haman indeed sported the hat, goatee and shoes (thank you, Queen) described above.
Any 5 year old whose parents managed to get him into one of these top Yeshivas will confirm gladly.

BTW, Evergreen had Haman hanging near the vegetables, I saw him on Monday. So just confirming, the hat, shoes and trimmed beard. His pants for those interested are green velvet.
