    I guess technically, I would have been darkened by the lightning, but lightened when I got knocked out of my shoes.

    I tell you, if I hadn’t put the lighning rod down and closed the window, it could have been curtains for the curtains as well.

    Chana funny! Great contribution as always. Yes, you might have become the ex-expat, and your wandering days could have come to an end had the lightening found the rod more attractive. But then it came to you like a bolt from the blue to put that rod away. What an electrifying story. A streak of natural power. You should have posted it on the gored by a bull thread. And lighter you would have become. Thats why people hit by lightening are often found up a nearby tree…

    Nah, I gotta give HKBH the credit for that one!

    At least it’s spelled right in the link.

    (lightning=natural phenomenon in the sky)

    (lightening= verb tense of to lighten=to make something a shade lighter in color, or lighter in weight)
