I guess technically, I would have been darkened by the lightning, but lightened when I got knocked out of my shoes.
I tell you, if I hadn’t put the lighning rod down and closed the window, it could have been curtains for the curtains as well.

(lightning=natural phenomenon in the sky)
(lightening= verb tense of to lighten=to make something a shade lighter in color, or lighter in weight)
