Has anyone tried this diet? Has it worked for you? Were you able to maintain the weight loss?February 16, 2014 4:13 pm at 4:13 pm #1003481oomisParticipant

Haven’t tried it, but I understand that it’s actually spray glue that’s used on the mouth. Has not been approved by the FDA for oral use.February 16, 2014 6:53 pm at 6:53 pm #1003485golferParticipant
Spray glue for the mouth should work wonders!
A piece of duct tape, strategically placed, is also a great weight loss aid. (Care should be taken to leave nasal passages intact.)
With Purim & Pesach coming, along with the great challenges they present to those who may be a bit (…how do I phrase this delicately?… pudgy? rotund? I think I”ll go with–) weighty, I hope attention is given to keeping this thread in the spotlight.February 16, 2014 8:19 pm at 8:19 pm #1003486
I’m so happy that none of you weight conscience people have never found the need to go on this diet!
In the spirit of Purim, you can continue your jest.
Just in case there is anyone who tried this diet , please let me know?February 16, 2014 8:26 pm at 8:26 pm #1003487BoruchSchwartzParticipant
Has anyone tried the new diet sprite diet? The diet is simple. All you can consume is diet sprite. You can have 1000 cans of it a day, but nothing else!February 16, 2014 8:35 pm at 8:35 pm #1003488SayIDidIt™Participant
a mamin, maybe explain what this diet is exactly? (And don’t take too much offense that your thread turned into a playground. That is what happens when you got little kids running around here…)

sidi: I’m not offended at all! We could always use a good laugh!
It’s a spray that you use to suppress your appetite along with various vitamins and only 700 calories a day for a month! No starches, no carbs etcFebruary 16, 2014 10:16 pm at 10:16 pm #1003490NechomahParticipant
a mamin, I do not believe that it is healthy for a person to eat 700 calories per day for any length of time. This will put the body into what is called “starvation mode”. The body thinks you are planning to starve it and therefore refuses to convert fat stores to process them out of the body. Instead it steadfastly preserves those fat stores since it truly believes it is starving.
I strongly recommend a well-balanced diet with portion control and limiting either sugar or fat intake (whichever seems to be a bigger issue for you). I have somehow managed to lose a few kilos in the last several weeks just trying this basic idea, even though I lead a very sedentary lifestyle. Also, drink plenty of fluids and get enough rest, as the fat is processed out during sleep and the fluids will keep your skin elastic while it is shrinking.

The only spray that I know of that is truly useful for dieting is Lysol.
