Can someone please explain exactly what it is that the Dirshu organization is being Mesayem this Sunday?

Shas. They get tested on it, so it’s a bigger accomplished than people who space out through shiur and claim they finished Shas. I’m not saying that all people who do Daf Yomi do that, but some do.
Does the dirshu Siyum hashas also finish it in 7.5 years like Daf yomi or do they take longer to finish since they learn it much deeper?
if they take longer then how many years does it take them to finish Shas?
Yes, they follow the regular Daf Yomi calendar.
As to your next question, yes, the Siyum is being held a few weeks after they completed Shas.
Is it a siyum haShas or siyum Talmud Bavli?
Apparently they wanted to do it early but pushed it off due to pressure from Agudah. Anyway it sure makes more sense to do it a few weeks later then a few days earlier, before anyone actually finished! They were all dancing that they finished, then went back to learning Nidah…
