Me too. Out of the blue one of my friends asked me if I was mod 80. How did he figure it out?

I hope none of my friends find out who I am(or my other screen name) because that would be pretty sticky!

Quite a few people know who I am. Since I hold the same opinions IRL that I do here, it’s no big deal.

Someone here met me recently and told me who she was and that she knew who I was. She was right! I have no problem with that.

A word from the wise everyone…Here are a few tips to keep your identity your best kept secret. 1) If you feel morally obligated to state your true opinions, make sure to spice it up with a few phrases that are out of character so you won’t be “discovered”.

    2) Choose a generic user name, such as a heimish yid, so people will be at a loss concerning your age, gender, location, and frum social circle (ie. Carlebach, YU, or tuna beigel)

3)Don’t get too invested in any conversation. Passion is a dangerous thing, and if you let your spirits run free, you may say things that are a tad revealing.

A cool and collected disposition is the only way to safely traverse the war zone of the coffee room.

Hatzlacha to you all in your future endeavors to remain under the radar. It seems like this advice would benefit a few of you…

I once almost got busted, my quick wit saved me.

Someone told me that on a website called “theyeshivaworld” there is someone impersonating me. The poster uses my name and posts riddles that I like asking. She suggested that I check it out.

I told her that I don’t have time for such things and she should tell the person to “get a life”.
