IIRC, it’s about a rov who convinced an elderly man to start
putting on tefillin. He told him that the posuk says that our
lives are 70 years (“y’mei sh’noseinu shiv’im shana”), and so
83 could be considered a second bar mitzvah for 13 years of a
second lifespan. Therefore, it would be fitting for him (late 82)
to start putting on tefillin as a boy does when he’s approaching
bar mitzvah, and if he would do so, the rov would make him a bar
mitzvah seudah when he became 83. And so it happened.
(I don’t remember where I read the story, but it was probably
in a volume of Visions of Greatness or of the Maggid series.)
The story is that after his first Bar Mitzvah he realized that the only time he feels comfortable sitting in a chair is when three other guys are holding it up.
So even when he’s on the CR he’s standing up.
In five years he’ll have his second Bar Mitzvah where he’ll sit down again for five minutes

I’m reading a book and it has some quotes that felt like lightbulbs.
Some of these subtitles are so deep. Mods could have explained it all but they’re here to be explored.

No. There is a line in Ahava Rabbah (before Sh’ma in Shacharis):
“…Lishmoa, Lilmod, Ulelamaid…”
It means “to listen”

I’m still confused as to how you qualify for getting a subtitle – is it just luck of the draw?
In my case, someone asked them to give me a subtitle and then someone else made a suggestion as to a subtitle for me.
I don’t know what usually happens. They probably just happen to think of something funny or cute or nice that seems appropriate for a particular person based on things (or a thing) that person has been posting or based on the person’s username.
Mods, I have a suggested answer for you. The screenname “yitayningwut” means, “You’re ta’ayning what?”. This expression would be used as a shocked reply when a chavrusa gives a krumer svora, and his partner asks what his ta’ana is.
If you are responding to his subtitle you are correct. We knew that, it was a joke at the time.[shout out in case you’re listening]

Mods, yes, I was responding to the question in the subtitle. Don’t remember where I saw it, but I had to try work it out. It would be difficult to know moderator in-jokes from 5000 miles away.
Btw, I still haven’t worked out “iacisrmma”. Any clues please?
Didn’t mean for it to be an in-joke, more of a timely joke. Sorry can’t help with iacisrmma despite my curiousity, he mentioned it was personal.
I think someone asked him/her about it, and he/she said it was a private joke.
