Yes I always fold my slice when I eat pizza! I find it hard to eat pizza unfolded, it’s too big to fit into my mouth! I have done it in front of out-of-towners and they told me it’s a New York thing.
Being that “Chicago” stlye pizza isn’t very conducive to folding, I would say it is a “New York” style pizza thing…
I’m “out of town” and I’ve seen people do it.
No I never do.
I often ask them to cut it into pieces for me, but not always.

And no, i wouldn’t think of folding pizza.
It depends if I have a plain slice or one with toppings. If it’s plain, then yes, I fold it. If there are toppings, I find that folding it makes the toppings fall off, so I keep it straight.
No. I use a fork and knife.
we do not fold our pizza. but we have a ny. relative that does. why would u fold it? it finishes faster that way, no?
I eat it halfway and then when its mostly crust, I put fries in it and fold it.
During the week I fold it carefully down the middle, but on shabbos I just roll it up into a ball and shove it in.

no i don’t fold my pizza. i cringe whenever i spot someone folding their slice, or using a fork & knife for pizza.

dafyomi-Yes I wash and bench even on one slice, but I hardly ever meet anybody else who does, and every time I tell somebody that I wash on pizza they think I am crazy.
Always – it just tastes better to me, that way.
I don’t, but my father a”h used to. And I don’t think it’s a New York thing because he grew up in Chicago.
