I was born and raised in Chicago which is part of the region referred to as the midwest but this makes no sense the real midwest would be like Colorado so why is the middle of the country called the midwest? because east coasters consider everything west of Pennsylvania the west how silly from now on I will call myself a heartlander!
Are you maskim Syag? Onegoal? etc..
The ocean is important enough.
I’m in. Agreed.
I consider BP mid-west. I think the Verrazano is on the west coast. (it goes to??)
You can call me Midwesterner, I don’t mind!
Don’t call me a midwesterner either. Call me a Nor’easter
You’re always west of something. I’m a Eastwesterner.
Labels, labels. Why do we need to label everyone?
Is it nebbish to bump a 1 day old thread?
Completely agree, Goq.
About being called a midwesterner, or about bumping a one day old thread?
maskim, Goq. But I didn’t think the east coasters considered everything west of Pennsylvania west, I thought they just assumed the country ended there.
On a related note, I was at a REALLY fancy Chicago wedding this week, they even had silverware!!!!
