Holmes gave absolutely no clues about his sinister plot, that was in careful planning for months, while in therapy with her? Was Holmes that in control?

Fenton might not have had have enough goods on him to have him arrested, but nothing worth reporting to authorities so they could do an in depth check of what he was up to? This would have lead to the discovery that hes buying loads of ammunition.

Glenn Rotkovich, owner of Lead Valley Range, declined Holmes membership to the shooting club, because he smelled trouble after listening to Holmes’ voicemail. Dr Fenton never heard this odd voicemail?

Psych’s & therapists cannot report a client to police unless he knows of an imminent danger.

    You would think that

1- After many years of schooling to be alert and good at diagnosis, psychiatrists could pick up on dangerous conditions.

2- After months/weeks of therapy with a qualified psychiatrist, whatever the perp’s condition was that led to the murder spree, would be successfully treated and thereby lessen his murderous urge.

This was not a crime of passion, this was a very pre-meditated murder spree.

Its sad to think that if there are no clear determinants, of very harmful individuals, we’re all in danger.

His psych didn’t know the danger was *imminent*. Therefore he legally could not report him to authorities.
