I just saw these for sale on eichlers.com. What are they and do they work?
July 12, 2011 2:17 am at 2:17 am #785037aries2756ParticipantProbably caffeine pills.
July 12, 2011 2:40 am at 2:40 am #785038Sender AvMemberaries, I would think that would make fasting worse.
July 12, 2011 3:15 am at 3:15 am #785039mada-emtMemberIf you normally don’t fast well- don’t take these! I know somoeone who took them and got so dehydrated and couldn’t get back to their normal self the next day that they ended up in the ER.
July 12, 2011 3:49 am at 3:49 am #785040smartcookieMemberI used something called “Kali Tzom” which has helped me a lot with fasting well. I know others who have used it too and fasted better.
I cannot speak for the other easy fast pills around, but this one worked!

It makes no difference to me whether this is physical or psychological, if they feel better for taking them then it’s worthwhile and they work.

July 12, 2011 2:31 pm at 2:31 pm #785043adorableParticipantI have used Kalei Tzom too but did not find that they necessarily worked- I dont think I fasted any better or worse…I think its all psychological.
July 12, 2011 2:36 pm at 2:36 pm #785044TheGoqParticipanthey adorable hope i didn’t offend u yesterday it was all for fun
July 12, 2011 3:31 pm at 3:31 pm #785045adorableParticipantI am a little too slow. I know there is something that I missed but I still dont get what was going on. it was on too many different threads.
July 12, 2011 4:55 pm at 4:55 pm #785046HealthParticipantTaking a 24 hr. drug before the fast helps. People in their homes sell 24hr Tylenol or 24 hr aspirin to help support a Kollel in Toronto. I personally take a 24 hr NSAID.
