There has been a networking event in Florida known as ECAP in which the atmosphere was not suitable for Bnei Torah. Do we have to copy the WASPs in everything? Is it really so important for these businesses to function?

Well, blogs and chats are not suitable for Bnei Torah either.

To redleg: Two answers: (i) Eastern Cincinnati Alliance for Palestine. (ii) Something E-GENTILES wear on their E-HEADS.

To paraphrase the Mad Hatter (or Queen of Heart?), when lakwhud uses an acronym or abbreviation, it means exactly what he/she intends it to mean.

Is the atmosphere anti Torah? I’d doubt it. Does everyone behave perfectly? Maybe yes, maybe no.
I don’t know what goes on there. But I know a number of people who go. They are largely ehrliche yidden, who live Torah based, albeit Baalebatishe lifestyles. And those people provide quite a fair percentage of support of Torah in this country.
