    Hi eclipse! I think it’s Bashert I thought about this right before you leave us.

    I think you were my teacher one year and we weren’t a very well behaved class. Is there any class you have a heavy heart on? I’m worried and sometimes think about you and other teachers.

    I hope you’ll tell me you don’t remember such a class…

    I never had an entire class be a problem,b”h.

    I truly have wonderful memories of the classes I’ve taught.

    In my 2 decades of teaching,I remember only 2 difficult kids from a 1990 class (with absolutely NO hard feelings),and one class(without any specific students in mind)from around 2004/5 that

    could have been a little more respectful.

    If there was anything else,I honestly don’t remember.

    Now you made me curious.

    Are you one of the students I kept up with afterwards…?

    Ok you made me feel better! Myself- individualy, I wasn’t a major problem BH, but I was worried you have something against a class in general.

    I didn’t keep up with you, and you probably don’t even know me.

    I think you taught me in 2004. (It was the only year you were in my school.)

    So would you care to solve the mystery?

    Was it my being Litvish?

    Or the subject just didn’t seem relevant?

    Or (since it was a hard year for me at home,as you NOW understand)was I not as light-hearted as I tried to be?

    No, no, Eclipse- nothing against YOU Chas Vsholom, and I don’t think it was that you’re Litvish. Many teachers by us weren’t Chassidish.

    It was definitely the subject, although I love writing! My class was never too fond of it 🙂

    I do remember you with the sweetest personality and the most creative ideas!

    Pity I didn’t know what a special person you are (as I’ve seen here), but at least I learned a lot from you here in the CR!!

    I guess it’s a good lesson for ALL students to have rachmonus on the teachers who may not be teaching their favorite subject!:)
