Why can’t I edit my profile? I tried entering a new email address because I don’t use the one that I signed up with anymore. I also tried entering a new password. Initially, it looked like I was successful. It said “profile updated”, but when I went back to check again, it was back to the old email address and I don’t know what it has for my password.

Your password must be whatever it was last time you logged in.

I just edited my email address successfully.

Do you perhaps already have another account with that e-mail address? (Perhaps one of your children used it to create an account.)

In this scenario, whatever you just set

your password to is now your password.

You can change your password?! That’s cool! I never knew that!

You do it in the page for editing your profile.

Click on your name at the top of the site where it says

“Welcome, [your name],” then on “edit this information.”

Or just follow this link (which will only work for you):

The password change fields are below the profile info fields.

I have the right password. Maybe I will try to change the email address again and see what happens.

Daas Yochid – If I can’t do it, I may need ur help.

Funny. It wouldn’t let me changed to the email address I wanted to but it let me change it to my work email. I guess maybe I once did use the other one, I don’t know. Oh well. Thanks everyone.

I’d love to edit my profile. My real one. I’d like to write that I’ve become a baal midos tovos, somewhat learned, y’know a something… Alas, I can’t find that button.

Little Froggie – first of all, I’m sure you have great midos and are a wonderful person. But if you still want to improve urself (as we all should), you can find that special “button”. Just look within urself. And daven to Hashem.

    Thanks Comlink-X! Greatly appreciated!!
