“In personal relationships, elitism can create a hierarchy where one partner feels superior, leading to an imbalance that strains the bond.
In public interactions, it can manifest as a lack of empathy or understanding, contributing to an atmosphere where superficial judgments overshadow the intrinsic value of every individual

Elitist attitudes can also be found in various contexts, such as social media, professional settings, and personal relationships. For instance, someone might consistently deems their taste in music, fashion, or food inherently better than others, imposing their preferences as a standard for everyone around them.

Moreover, elitism can lead to a refusal to acknowledge personal errors or recognize the potential merit of others’ contributions, reinforcing a self-perceived hierarchy where only the ‘best’ or those who meet stringent standards are worthy of consideration.
This can result in a lack of humility and a tendency to look down on others who have not achieved the same level of success or status.

In summary, elitism can shape a person’s attitude by promoting superiority, dismissiveness, and a lack of empathy, often leading to strained relationships and a negative impact on social interactions”

Square root, that we are rotting from the inside with our elitist attitude. And the truth shall be spoken.

Well I guess it depends who. But mataralism definitely has created an elitist attitude in many ways. And other things. It’s just food for thought. A perspective and an understanding

In the olden days a person had to work hard to have what he needs which actually keeps a person humble. I’m not talking about going to the office and making a living cuz that’s still disconnected from actual work. Work itself creates a level of humbleness when you see how your bread is grown and you need to wring out your clothes to make it dry. Nowadays we don’t even do half of all that. And we have everything we need through the illusion of money. This is a blessing and a curse. Because we are now all elites. Living like elites and also acting like elites.
