Can someone recommend to good emunah book to read myself or with someone?
the garden of Emunah by Rabbi Shalom Arush
Living Emuna daily by Rabbi David Ashear.
Understanding Emunah
The Heart Of Amunah by Rabbi Schmeltzer. Hashkafa books need a “hechsher”, and this one has the best endorsements I have ever seen. It’s not easy reading though. More like a English Sefer.
Shaar Habitachon in Chovos Halevavos
Emunah with Love and Chicken Soup by Sara Yocheved Rigler.
Okay, so it’s really a biography (of Rebbetzin Henny Machlis, a”h), but it’s the best mussar sefer I have ever read!
Emunah U’Bitachon, by the Chazon Ish. Good for learning alone or with chavrusa, not light reading.
Anything by the saintly tzaddik, HaRav Shimshon Pincus, the Nefesh Shimshon (for example, The Gates of Emuna)
Anything by the saintly tzaddik, HaRav A. Miller zatzal (for example, The Universe Testifies)
I’ve read many of the above, and by far the best are LIVING EMUNAH, volumes one and two! They have changed my life and entire perspective on every situation that arises! I bless Rabbi Ashear…
There is only one book you need.
5 Great Lives. An Artcroll book. Read the stories, and you will have all the inspiration you need.
Indeed, read the biographies…
