Does anyone have any good ideas as to what kind of entertainment to have at a Sheva Brachos?
Someone I know is making one, and she wants something original and interesting.
It’s not original unless they think of it themselves.
how about bringing a badchan do standup comedy about marriage & couples etc…
Let a bunch of pigeons loose and watch the bird show. It is so original that I doubt anyone did it before at a simcha.
How about ask one of the chosson’s friends to stand up and say all sorts of really bad stuff about the chosson. But at the end he’ll say “just kidding.”
Why do you need entertainment? It’s just an added, unnecessary expense
Entertainment? Is this a kindergarten birthday party?
Oh my Goldilocks!
Looks like the 3 bears are coming at you.
Like sheldy said: a video — it’s a nice treat to be able to view a video (even home made) of the wedding itself.
The only appropriate entertainment would be a professional Badchan. Otherwise or in addition “make sure” the speakers are well prepared and not too boring. Warn all speakers to not start off their speech apologizing how unprepared or unqualified they are, because if they are then they shouldn’t be speaking. If they insist on speaking nonetheless and actually proclaim those silly disclaimers then they have just signaled most people to tune out.
The mummy game, have a race on both sides of the mechitzah, very entertaining.
Someone to write grahmen about the guests, and sing them.
