January 3, 2012 7:12 pm at 7:12 pm #841184 mommamia22Participant It’s assur to send a child for swim lessons??? Isn’t it a requirement of a parent to teach their child to swim according to the Torah?? (and if it’s assur, why is the boro park Y full of frum kids?) January 3, 2012 7:19 pm at 7:19 pm #841185 apushatayidParticipant Motsai Shabbos at Madison High (Quentin and Bedford). Gym and pool are open for boys from 8:00 (or 8:30) to 10/10;30?). Real Charaidi Neigborhoods (such as Beitar) do not have any ball playing.” It gets in the way of hafgana practice. Real Charaidi Neigborhoods (such as Beitar) do not have any ball playing.” (Bad joke ahead) They get their exercise from chasing, harassing, and throwing things at little girls.
