Does anyone know of good places in Brooklyn to send kids for karate, swim, soccer, etc?

It’s assur to send a child for swim lessons???

Isn’t it a requirement of a parent to teach their child to swim according to the Torah??

(and if it’s assur, why is the boro park Y full of frum kids?)

Motsai Shabbos at Madison High (Quentin and Bedford). Gym and pool are open for boys from 8:00 (or 8:30) to 10/10;30?).

Soccer (or any other type of ball playing). Real Charaidi Neigborhoods (such as Beitar) do not have any ball playing.

I think there are different age groups. I think the group running it calls it Yeshiva Basketball, but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve seen their ad in the local papers (Vues, FJJ).

It gets in the way of hafgana practice.

    (Bad joke ahead)

They get their exercise from chasing, harassing, and throwing things at little girls.
