Yup yogurt is scary. Anyway I became lactose intolerant last year so I don’t eat all these things anyway.

I don’t know what cottage cheese you eat in Israel but the one my Sem had was horrible.

food says a lot about a person- i was finally able to analyze and decipher the real men from the ones that pretend to be, and same goes for the females round here

and squeak- you always violate 1 of the mod “best posters” rule: double meaning. but that’s what makes you unique and i really go for it! keep it up

Beacon, you mentioned you love cheese at the begining of the thread. I went to Pomegrante last week. Oh my goodness, they have a wide variety of Chalav Yisrael cheese. Olives, Port wine, Blue cheese, mozzerella. Can’t remember them all, but they sure looked good. Oh, and don’t go shopping there on an empty stomach.

When we went to pomegrante, last week, they had some sampling of their dips. Oh boy, I went with my hubby and 2 of the kids. We had not eaten dinner yet. Oh boy, I could not get them away from the table. They were munching like crazy. I took the cart and left them!! The lady serving the sample must have been rolling her eyes. My husband (and myself) highly recommend the Olive Dip.

Has anyone here heard of a fruit phobia? I know someone who gets nauseous from smelling, touching or even seeing fruit.

Qwertyuiop, yeah, there was alittle olive dip left over. If you want they have full size containers for sale, which we bought. Finished that container in no time, went back to buy more. It was great with Melba toast. There was Honey mustard picled Herring, that wasn’t too shabby either.

syrian, jelly belly makes something call “BEAN BOOZLED” They have one normal flavor and one horrid flavor – same color. You get to figure out which is the yucky one. Skunk spray, ear wax, baby wipes, toothpaste, are some of the available flavors you may get. It’s a big hit with the kids. I personally have not tried it, nor would I let my kids try it. I saw it few weeks ago by where else, Pomegrante, a few weeks back when they had a full display, last weeks there were only 2 packs left. So someone is buying that stuff. If I were you I’d be careful of anyone offering my Jelly Bellies, you might be “Bean Boozled. Oh,yeah they had something like that in the Harry Potter books, too. (and no, I do not work for Pomergrante, in case someone maybe wondering, just shopped there a few times.)

No,don’t work there. I have shopped at that store 4 times since it has opened. I am just amazed at the variety of kosher food that they have, even Beacon agrees about the Cheese department.
