I really don’t like FF but my online courses only work on FF or IE.

any tips to make FF more user friendly and fast like chrome? I think I have the newest version but I can easily upgrade if I need to.

    Any add-on’s I should try?

    Thanks!

ABP/Ad Block Plus. Let’s you permanently block specific ads, and it blocks popups.

I have FF set to block popups already and I don’t like the ad blockers.

I’m forcing myself to get used to FF so i’ve been using it all day instead of chrome and i HATE it. freezes way too often for me. not looking forward to this at all and I haven’t even started school yet 🙁

*stamps foot* No, that is a FIREFOX add-on (oops, haha) that has ALWAYS been FIREFOX’S and to attribute it to that impertinent upstart is just BLASPHEMY. HMPH

sorry OOM but i’m a chromie. can’t change that.

I disabled an add on that was slowing it down and now its doing better. for some reason it freezes when I close tabs which is very annoying. also, the address bar search function uses yahoo!. I hacked into about:config to change it to google.com but the setting wont stay. tried it 2x but reverted to yahoo both times

and there is a lag time between switching tabs that chrome didn’t have. WHY can’t my schools get programs that run on ALL browsers and not just the lousy ones?
