“Polling Place Locations
While the November 3, 2020 election is being conducted primarily with vote by mail ballots, with each active registered New Jersey voter receiving a vote by mail ballot, there will still be at least one polling location available in every municipality in the state and each county will operate at least 50% of its normal polling location capacity. Voters who do not receive a vote by mail ballot or who prefer to vote in person will cast a paper ballot at their designated polling location.”

Any NJ registered voter can vote in person.

Enough with the Trump voter fraud conspiracy theories. It is not commonplace.

I have been an Asst Registrar of Voters for many years, voter fraud is extremely rare. If you are concerned about mail in ballots not being received on time, blame Trump and his vile Postmaster General appointee who has slowed down mail delivery and removed sorting machines.

Being really honest, I do believe trump will have a sizeable lead by midnight November 4th(based on polls that were accurate in 2016+voter registration ), though he probably won’t officially be declared winner as some states allow for mail ins to be received a few days after election day. Regardless I think it will be clear by midnight November 4 that trump won.

It is up to each state to decide. Under Federal law, the state legislature is free to appoint electors without regard to how people vote. It is merely a “minhag” to let votes choose the electors. If New Jersey votes choose the Republicans, it is perfectly legal for the state legislature to choose Democrats. And under the Constitution, Nancy Pelosi will be the one counting votes.

About the only thing the Constitution bans is a state can’t become a monarchy, and can’t limit the right to vote based on several factors – but there is no prohibition of election fraud, and in many blue states it is a well established minhag (Boss Daley, Tammany Hall, “Vote early and often”).

I live in a Democrat majority legislature and Governor state.

ANY registered voter may vote in person, filling out a regular ballot and then inserting it in the tabulator machine to be scanned and counted, just as it is in any other election,
I have voted absentee for many years, as I am an Asst. Registrar of Voters and work at a polling location not my own.

There are approx 26,000 registered voters in Town. 7,000 absentee ballots were requested and as of yesterday, 5,000 had been returned.
That means 19,000 voters have chosen to either vote in person or not vote this election.

Finding out who wins the 2020 presidential election is easy. It will probably be in all the newspapers by Friday, 11/6/2020. In the meantime, be patient.

So when ALL the votes are counted and if Biden is declared the winner, we MUST accept the results since as Sam Klein has reminded us 17 times in the past month “that Hashem runs the entire world…” and if that is the outcome, it is only because the Ebeshter made it happen.

Just to be clear. FOX News, not CNN or MSNBC, just called Michigan for Biden and has him at 264 of the required 270 electoral votes. Either Nevada or Arizona would put him over the top. The Republicans might have a better chance of gaining credibility if they didn’t just put up Crazy Rudy at a news conference to suggest they are considering a NATIONAL lawsuit to throw out ALL mail-in ballots as part of a national conspiracy orchestrated by the DNC. There are some serious GOP lawyers with legitimate election law credentials so I’m mystified why Crazy Rudy has become the face of the Trump kvetching about voter fraud.

lots of strange things happened this year already. how about a 270-268 election, then 1 elector switching his vote (based on new Hunter revelations or bribede by Russians) and election goes to Congress. Congress compromises on Biden as a VP (again). Maybe a rotation, Israeli style.

I just read the following:

After states certify their results, the electors of the Electoral College will convene on Dec. 14 in their respective states to cast one ballot for president and one for vice president.

Those results are then delivered to the Capitol, where on Jan. 6, 2021, the Senate and House of Representatives will meet for a joint session in the House chamber to count the electoral votes.

When the votes have been counted and one ticket has received a majority of 270 or more electoral votes, the vice president, who presides as president of the Senate, will announce the results.

FU (follow-up) to my previous comment: If the results aren’t in the papers by Friday, 11/6, be more patient and wait a few more days.

No, we knew two weeks ago. Trump tried to steal the election by having the Postal Service fail to deliver mail in ballots in Detroit and Philadelphia but he lost anyway. No fraud has been found. Biden is President Elect.
