So I was born on a Thursday, the fifth day:

“On the fifth day, G?d filled the seas with fishes and other water animals. In to the air above the earth He put many birds of all kinds and colors and sizes.”

I eat a lot of fish and eggs. I was vegan for nearly nine years until my way of eating wasn’t working for me anymore (maybe due to allergies or my medications inhibiting vitamin absorption). Anyway, I still think being vegan is awesome and worthwhile health-wise. Yet I see that it may not work for everyone and for always.

Anyway… I feel that it is so symbolic that eating fish and eggs gave me a refuah baruch Hashem.

Is that because I was born on the fifth day and thus have a special need to consume fish and eggs (from birds)?

Does your birth day of the week tie into your eating?

I don’t know but I heard that in the Gemara it says that people born on Mondays have a certain personality trait. I no longer remember what it was but I remember that it fit me and I was born on a Monday. It may have had to do with persistence, but I’m not sure. I do remember that it was a trait that can be viewed as either positive or negative.

Is anyone here familiar with this Gemara and do you know what the trait is?

I always liked, “Monday’s child is fair of face.”

If the day you are born is connected to food preferences, then Monday is clearly chocolate.

“Monday’s child is fair of face.”

It’s Mother Goose and def not Jewish… “Saturday’s child works hard for a living,” (Googled it)

    Guess what though?!!

Even more exciting is that Monday is associated with the creation of angels (Chabad).

“In the Midrash Rabbah we find two opinions on this matter:

Rabbi Yochanan taught that angels were created on the second day of Creation. He sees this reflected in Psalms 104 where we read in the third verse:
