Wow! Must be nice to be part of a real kehilla, like in the olden days. Most communities today are so fragmented and divided, it ends up being every man for himself! Pity i don’t see myself crossing the ocean to Gateshead anytime soon.

I was chatting to a old ex-Gatesheader about the new Gateshead Rov, he felt that only families who were in Gateshead prior to the Second World War should have a say in the kehilla elections.
