I wanted to see how long I can stay out of the CR today. It’s noon. Personal record I think.
You beat the record today. Is that how it’s gonna be? Every day you wait 1 hour longer before you give in? Eventually, you’ll be cured.
I heard of someone who did something similar. During the 40 years that he spent working, he only was able to sleep 6 hours a night. So, when he retired at 65 he decided that he would start sleeping an extra hour every night – so 7 hours a night – and that he would increase his sleeptime by one hour per night every year on his birthday. So he did just that, slept 7 hours a night for a year, then 8 hours a night the next year, and so on. When he turned 82, he died in his sleep.
Not so – even if you don’t fill all the threads with wisdom and wit we will still notice, as long as you fill all the threads.

c’mon, ames, this is blogging. I’m allowed some liberties (and you must admit I take few). To answer your question, one did nothing with it, except obtain it to justify further grant funding. Plus, one enjoys learning new things. But if you are looking for yourself, I can ellaborate on the careers that it is useful for. (ending a sentence with a preposition is another one of those liberties)
The fine people of the Asti region of Italy discovered a way to rid themselves of pesky mosquitos. They simply bottle them and sell the bottles to foreigners. Maybe you could do the same, and then I can make kiddush on some mosquito d’ames.
