Before each yom tov I like to give a little gift to my spouse. Sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller (depending on the financial status, ofcourse)I need some new ideas????
Is the receipient in this case the husband or the wife?
I would imagine the recipient is the husband- I dont think Hello Kitty is a male:) So maybe a nice tie or cufflink.
That is such a thoughtful thing!
sorry blinky, the recipient is a female not a male.
Blinky. I learned a loooooong time ago, never assume anything 🙂
Not sure what your budget is. There is a new “yom tov” cookbook that’s out, its about fifteen dollars. A nice piece of costume jewelry for 25-50 dollars. A new machzor. If she doesn’t have one regularly a cleaning lady a couple of days before and/or after yom tov. Lots of possibilities. You know what your spouse would appreciate most.
That is absolutely so thoughtful and wonderful chinuch for your children as well. If the cleaning lady already exists a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure or a massage is also extremely appreciated around yom tov. A beautiful scarf or pocket book is also a great gift. This is not her birthday or Anniversary so anything you choose will be appreciated even if it is not jewelry because of the thoughtfulness behind it.
A cleaning lady on yom tov to do the dishes.
(Hmmm. Or a husband on yom tov to do the dishes)
Thanks apushatayid and aries2756, I like your ideas.I am glad I asked.(Just dont tell my wife cuz it has to come from me, lol!!!)
I’m waiting for a second freezer as a gift from my hub! Best present! If you can afford it, go ahead 🙂
Ha ha thats hilarious what made you come up with that name Hello Kitty??? I think even my 5 year old daughter is too old for that now!!!!
Hello Kitty- i hope you are not offended by my assumption;) hmmm I think all the nice ideas were taken already- if i think of something else ill post it.
I posted already in a diff. thread why my name is Hello Kitty. I have a little girly that dreams of HELLO KITTY all day. She loves to pest me about it. No matter what a buy she always needs more Hello Kitty stuff. So one day I told her that tatty is hello kiity…. From then on she calls me this way!!! funny?
Wow your “little girly” is very lucky that her Totty is such a sport!!
