Yes, it is. They should switch off who picks up and drives and pays.
I wasn’t aware that there was a “rule” that the boys pay for dates. FWIW, while I paid for most dates when we were dating, there were some times when Eeees paid.

This is ridiculous, for all the girls go through with the absolute ridicule in the investigations and such! Now you are going too far. I suggest the young men NOT only ACT like gentlemen but actually learn how to be gentlemen!
I agree with Sac. The girls side should pay for the whole wedding. Why drop the band and flowers and liquor and pictures on the poor guy and his family?

Here is another suggestion, if it costs too much stop fooling around and commit already! Stop playing the game and choose a wife!!! That should help!
btw for all the guys that are insisting girls should pay….and ur wondering why ur still single???? most girls are looking for generous guys, just keep that in mind next time u need to tip the waiter or parking attendant….

I think that for the first few dates (1 through 4) its typically and usually cheap ones like bowling,going for drinks ect. therefore th guy should pay….meaning dont take a girl out to eat at a resturant, anyhow as i have heard girls dont want to eat on a 1rst date especially infont of guys….the longer u date someone then the money does not matter anymore, so girls you can chip in as well, wont hurt you….i hope all of u find ur bashrets very soon (including myslef) 🙂

Yes, girls are takers, they take your kids to the doctor, to school, even to work with them. They take your shirts to the cleaners as well as your suits, your shoes to the shoemaker, etc. All while taking your laundry to the washer, your wet clothes to the dryer and your dry clothes to the ironing board or closet.
They take your food orders to the grocer, your groceries to the kitchen, your raw food to the stove and your cooked food to the table. Then they take your dirty dishes off the table, to the sink and your clean dishes after they wash them back to the cupboard. They even take challah as they make the dough!
Yep, girls are takers alright. We take everything we can get!!! That’s why we take your ring and then your credit card so get used to it!

I do most of those things myself and whatever I dont do the maid does. My mother doesnt personally do any of that.
According to you guy who knows how to cook and take care of himself, and there are guys like that, why should they want a wife?

Ideally, nothing. Look pretty, take care of themselves, get an education, and have the men come to you! Of course in this day and age you have to be delusional to think that you’ll ever get married by doing that. But that is the way it SHOULD be.

That is not usually the case at the beginning of a marriage. A young couple supporting themselves and getting married at a youngish age are not often able to afford a maid.
So while your mom may not do that now, she probably did at the beginning of the marriage before their salaries grew enough to support a more lavish lifestyle.

You do realize how absurd that sentence is, don’t you?
Every “proof” eventually leads back to theory anyway, since you need to use theory to say that all the factors were accounted for, and all the variables adjusted. So, if I can skip the pointless exercise and just use theory, it is even better.
