It’s been a pretty mild summer so far. Seems like recent summers have been cooler than in the past.
June 29, 2017 11:08 am at 11:08 am #1307284MenoParticipantIt’s because of Obama and the whole Cash for Clunkers deal.
If more people were driving clunkers, the weather would be just as it should be
July 2, 2017 10:20 am at 10:20 am #1308452LightbriteParticipantMaybe it’s your blood pressure getting lower over the years?
I noticed when my blood pressure is lower, I feel colder.

I guess you don’t live in the West.
We in the Northeast have indeed avoided multiple-day triple-digit heat waves over the past few summers, but the summers are still ending up warmer than the 1981-2010 climatological normals. In other words, some summers are so hot, that the less hot ones now feel mild to you.

July 3, 2017 12:30 pm at 12:30 pm #1309012JosephParticipantIt’s global in the same sense as the false narrative peddled by the so-called man-made global warming promoters.
July 3, 2017 12:39 pm at 12:39 pm #1309017👑RebYidd23ParticipantAnd in what sense is that?
July 3, 2017 12:39 pm at 12:39 pm #1309018Avram in MDParticipantJoseph,
It’s global in the same sense as the false narrative peddled by the so-called man-made global warming promoters.
What does this sentence mean?
July 3, 2017 3:01 pm at 3:01 pm #1309079hujuParticipantClimate change is not measured day-to-day or even year-to-year by weather reports. It stretches over hundreds of years, and there is little daily weather data prior to the late 19th century. Climate change deniers do their uninformed denying whenever it snows or gets cold.
July 4, 2017 1:52 am at 1:52 am #1309852LightbriteParticipantClearly there’s a global lowering of blood pressure
July 4, 2017 8:11 am at 8:11 am #1309881MenoParticipantOr maybe a global raising of atmospheric pressure
July 4, 2017 9:42 am at 9:42 am #1309893akupermaParticipantThe climate has included variability throughout history. The period of Bayis Sheini (the “classical” period in European history) and the time of the Rishonim (the “high middle ages”) were warm, they were followed by cool periods (the goyim’s “Dark ages” and “Early modern periods”). While they didn’t have thermometers there are records of what crops grew where and when rivers froze. The climate scaremongers base their calculations on the end of the early modern period and therefore see rapid temperature increase. If they based it on the the high middle ages, they wouldn’t be upset.
One should also note, that in the past, the warm periods were generally times of greater prosperity and population growth (and note that a leading source of carbon emissions are people and animals exhaling). Cool periods usually resulted in a falling population and famines.
