Well, I’m closing in on my all kids leaving yeshiva and heading off to learn in various places. I now find myself with a large amount of used seforim from their elementary and high school years. Everything from mussar through Tanach, through various meforshim and general halacha. How can I pass these on to others who may need them? The schools seem to have an ample supply for those who can’t buy their own, so we cant leave them there. Is there anyplace in BP or Flatbush that would simply take them?

UJM, Thanks… I’ve been lurking about, just too lazy or depressed to really comment on much. the last few years really beat the stuffing outta me. Yabia, as soon as I finish going through everything I’d be happy to get them to you or anyone. Of course meetups/personal info aren’t exactly condoned by mods as far as I remember.

I vaguely remember a shul drop off.

    Thanks for popping in.

I did not read the post.If you are looking to get rid of them try asking Chabad they might try taking them off your hands. If you are trying to get them try Pinters on 14th Ave in Boro park or there is a store on Ave L off coney in Brooklyn, NY where you can get them for about $1 or even free.

R” pinter would gladly take them. He has a used seforim store on 14th Ave and 44th. He has a table outside for people to buy all sorts of seforim for one dollar, most sets are 10. He keeps very good quality seforim inside to sell for more.

CAD: Yabiabis absolutely correct. I’m sorry for not asking. (I actually thought of asking but wasn’t sure if it it would make you uncomfortable. What is causing you unhappiness?

ADA, I’ll be taking you up on that advice, Yabia, sorry to disappoint you. As for depression, I wouldn’t really class it as that. COVID really took a huge toll on me personally and professionally. And I’ve just been really beaten down by all of it. I’m making headway out, but it’s almost like I’m afraid to be hopeful after two terrible years. I saw an awful lot of death and destruction. But I appreciate the concern though, really. I’m pulling out of it slowly but surely.
