Does anyone know where they still sell blue or grey (Litvishe) Kapotas? A light gray would be ideal for the summer? I’ve only seen them in black. Thank you.

I know it’s a bit late for Purim this year. But for the future, does anyone know where they might have sold inexpensive knock-off Kapotas for Purim? I suspect a place in Boro Park or Flatbush might have carried them.July 8, 2021 12:13 am at 12:13 am #1989468GadolhadorahParticipantMendy Satcho at Primo on Kingston Avenue is the place to go. They will fix you up with either grey or black in silk, wool or a lightweight blend for as little as $400 or up to $1,000. You can order online and specify size/length and even select button styles. I haven’t seen “blue” but perhaps their “black” fabrics may also include some dark blues shades.

When the goyim stopped wearing them (roughly a century ago, when King George stopped wearing them), demand fell, and at present the bulk of the demand is for black (meaning anything else is probably a special order that will cost more).
