Hair spray on nailpolish??

Has anyone heard the theory of spraying hairspray on nails to make the nailpolish dry faster?? heard it recently and told it to the lady at my salon, she said that alot of people do it, however the nails lose the shine. I tried it on my nails and it didn’t exactly loose shine but it did take much longer than usual for them to dry! could be that it’s a particular brand that does the trick… I don’t know.. Just don’t try it when your in a rush!
