    Especially since dollar bills are not single.

    A single is a dollar bill.

    So they should have said “Single as in a dollar bill”, but that would make no sense.

    sounds kind of negative and pessimistic. What does being single have to do with a dollar bill? A fifty could be single in your wallet just as well!

    about a woman who was single a long time and recently got married advice, single horror stories etc. Very entertaining.

    I’m glad singles are being paid attention to as singles, not just objects to get married.
