Today is the Christian calender birthday of the third jewish commenwealth. While May 5 or actually iyar 5 is usually celebrated, today the United Nations gave us what we were praying for 1900 long and painful years. It should be mentioned that the gemorah made us swear not to return until we got permission from the nations to return. ANd unlike the United States we did not rebel but were given permsiion to return to our ethnic homeland. It would be interesting to speculate why we do not use the christian date but rather the Jewish date to say hallel and in my opinion it is because our founding fathers did not want to use the christian dates on anything and even today in spite of any loshen hora sorry motzei sheim ra to the contrary the jewish date is vcalid on all legal documents and israeli newspapers. In other words the Meshiach has come and the wings of eagle are the dc 3 or now 747 that will make your travel easy
Uh excuse me how can you write such a thing??? HAPPY birthday!!! Do you know how many jewish lives were lost, how many precious yiden have been killed because of that disgraceful disgusting shameful state! HALEL OMG!!! On yom hatzmaut i, and many members of my family fast! Just recently a close relative of mine, Rabbi Dan Mertzbach was killed because of the Israely state. It is a disgusting abomination that needs to come to an end, not be celebrated h”y!
They only gave permission because they were bullied into it! Etzel/haganna they terrorised the British into it! And what about the land that they conquered-‘occupied territory’ NO ONE ever legalised that!
