I know we have a thread names “funny shidduch stories”, which is great. I want to make a new one with stories of chizzuk for those in the parsha, which can include stories of things working out in amazing ways, people getting back together, a “doomed” date leading to marriage or really anything of that nature.
One story-
My friends Chuppah was delayed since they were waiting for a key person to read the ketubah. People started fidgeting, so the Rabbi got up and said -“40 days before a person is conceived, a voice from heaven says who they will marry. The voice also says when they will get married. Therefore the chosson and kallah werent meant to get married at 7:20-or the chuppah would have started. They were meant to perhaps get married at 7:26”-and that was when the Ketuba ended up being read!
I want a story of a “doomed date” which results in a marriage, and then a horrible relationship and divorce and custody battle and no get, and machlokes in a community.
In other words, I am not impressed until I see the end of the story. Which will not happen in this world.
Never mind-I didnt word this properly…I started a new thread.
