So I got about 30-40 of my songs that I recorded on my mp3
Can I listen to them?
It’s not anything special, just me singing the songs I wrote when no one was home to hear me. There is no music whatsoever, but I heard even singing is assur? So can I:
1) Listen to me?
2) Sing?
3) Dance while listening to me?
Singing and listening is like the same thing, just I don’t like my family hearing my songs, so I won’t sing them out loud in my house, so I listen to the recordings….
If a Cappella is okay then why can’t you listen to someone sing? It should be better then
a Cappella because there is no digital “shtick” added!
Is singing without music ossur during the 9 Days? I don’t think so…

Dancing is out of the question.
Dancing is for sure no. According to R’ Moshe one cannot sing to themselves during the 3 weeks (listening to a recording of oneself should be the same). No one seems to hold like that in the slightest.
Hearing myself sing (croak)… only brings out…
I think I remember reading in Rabbi Simcha Bunim Cohen’s sefer on the subject that one should not sing during the Nine Days (except on Shabbos).
As far as listening to your own recorded singing, why would that be any different than listening to other people’s? And yes, rabbanim have written that one should not listen even to unaccompanied singing.
Hey, if your songs have original lyrics (that is, you wrote them), would you be willing to post them?
