I live in a co-op in Boro park and for the last 2 and half months there is a leak in my apartment from the roof. I have been dealing with the manager and president of the board who brought a roofer 3 times who did some work but I still have a leak. now the co-op doesn’t want to deal with it. I would try to get it fixed by myself but since it is a co-op it has to be approved. any ideas on what I can do??
Speak to a lawyer. I wonder if you can withhold your monthly maintenance payments and put them in escrow until they fix it.
