    Someone please help!!

I know only certain cameras are compatible with windows movie maker…but i don’t know which ones, and i’m looking to buy a camera. i take a bunch of videos, and i use movie maker often. I would really like to buy a canon camera- does anyone know which cameras out there are compatible with moviemaker? (i don’t want to have to convert anything)

    thanks

I think it’s more the format that the video camera stores the videos on. Ours uses mini DV cassettes and we connect the camera to the computer with a fire-wire cable.

Your best bet would be to call B & H and speak with one of their highly knowledgeable sales people.

    Hope this helps.

(If you post the model # you’re looking into I’ll look into it for you.)

i use movie maker very often in many different situations and i’ve never had a problem yet.

If you transfer the videos to your computer and then open it in Moviemaker, it won’t read?
