    Bet Ticho off of Yaffo

    – don’t go to cbs (tachana markazit) in my opinion that’s a bad place for a date.

I would suggest either malcha mall, go to a restaurant (I can give you suggestions), a hotel lounge, & bowling or go karting in talpiyot.

    Thanks for your suggestions…

Unfortunately an umbrella doesn’t help much in the freezing cold and hail…

    He’s a yeshiva bochur and hasn’t got a car…

And rav kavs only help you get to the destination – what destination, though?

    Thanks anyway!

Based on the US-Israel time difference, you probably won’t get the mods to approve the responses in time. I suggest you ask a friend, or maybe the MODS can give you my email address.

“there is an invention called an umbrella…….”

with just an umbrella, it aint a good idea to go on a date outdoors in this weather.

Yerushalayim is not a place for ‘going out’ in any way indeed. Very, very difficult to find anything appropriate there, especially in winter.

The idea of taking the train from Jerusalem to Beit Shemesh and back is really nice though!

Similarly, maybe taking a bus to Ein Gedi and back would also be nice.

Inside the city you’re pretty much stuck with *nothing*.

Mikomos is really lacking mikomos in Israel. Especially for rainy days. (Feel free to contribute; you may as well get a mitzvah for all that time wasted on the internet.) I have recently added some places, but I wouldn’t really recommend it as a list until it gets fuller. Hence my contributions over here -mall, restaurant, hotel lounge, & bowling or go karting in talpiyot.
