    I am in desperate need of help with windows movie maker. I have a lot of videos on my computer and would like to make a video,when I move a video from my folder on my computer into windows movie maker, I loose the audio, why is that? and how can I fix that? as a side point i have used WMM before and the audio has always worked, even for this particular video, i started making it a couple of weeks ago and then the audio worked, but now it doesn’t. any help would be greatly appriciated–thanks and gut voch

    It’s not your computer. It’s a problem with movie maker. It happens to anyone who uses it. The best thing to do is to save after every move you make. So if it crashes, you only lose the last bit that you didn’t save.

    do you recommend any other type of movie maker program?

    if you are willing to spend about $100, pinnacle studio is the best home video software.

    ok i dont want to spend $100—i have tried converting my files with prism video file converter ,and in the past it has worked, but now it doesnt


    i am desperate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 anyone have any ideas?

    iMovie on the mac is a great, easy to use movie maker and has not ever failed me. If you are able to use it I think it would be your best option.

    ok i am bumping this up again—in hope that someone can help me—-

    heres an update of what i can do—-the only way(so far) i figured out how to get audio is if i convert it using prism video file converter-then it works—however it only works in really really small, and when you make it bigger-the resolution is all bad (it looks speckled-(i cant remember the word for it right now)
