What is the most you’ve ever paid a parking lot to park your car in manhattan while going to an appointment or other errand?
I just had to shell out 60$ In the parking lot alone to take my kid to a specialist in manhattan.(ten bucks extra cuz I drive an suv, which I really don’t understand because it takes up the same size spot as a 4 door car…)and I was in the lot for under 3 hours.
I paid $50 for “up to 2 hours” near 47th and Madison recently.
If you have a flex spending account for medical expenses you can be reimbursed for travel to and from the appointment including all parking and tolls. Mileage is paid as per the current IRS guidelines (it is not the same rate as a deductible business expense) which I believe is 24 cents a mile.
I cant help you with a juicy story of over paying but i will NEVER go to the city without getting a coupon for a lot near where i need to go.
Central Parking systems and Icon parking systems the two biggest parking providers have lot EVERYWHERE and there is always a coupons online.
