The glue leaked from a truck onto Route 9 between Fourth and Madison and was reported shortly before 1 p.m. today, according to Patrolman Joe Prevish.

He said Officers Rich Stanik, Dave Sussman and Rob Myer responded and rerouted traffic to side streets.

It is not known when the roadway will be reopened, he said.

Now if you get a call saying,” I’m running late because I’m stuck in traffic.” You can believe it!!

Route 9 was reopened shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to Lt. Louis Sasso.

Police said it appeared the driver saw the glue leaking out of the truck and stopped the vehicle on Route 9.

Goq and CB thnx and 007 ditto

Just a thought Why doesn’t the glue get stuck on the way to leaking out?

littleapple- something to do with the oxygen. In the truck or glue bottle there is no oxygen. When the glue goes out of the bottle/truck, it reacts with the oxygen and bonds and hardens. So if you were to leave a bottle of glue open, eventually the entire bottle would turn solid.

(I might be making this up)

It seems to me that the quality level a post has to reach before getting stickied has gone down greatly.

Hey its humor. Glue- sticky – haha. Feel free to find it corny. Im guessing this won’t stay sticky that much longer. Glue loses its stickiness.
