In previous generations, there was a Rov of the Kehillah, and his word was law. Now, if you don’t like the Rov’s Psak, you open a new shul, and inform the new Rov what you would like the P’sak to be (on sufferance of Hefsed Merubah for the new Rov).
How can we stop all of the new minyonim cropping up?
get the board to hire a new rav
Way to go, gavra!

his question was
How can we stop all of the new minyonim cropping up?
this is how! (there are more than one way to stop a fight, either leave or make the other guy leave :))
Bear in mind that often these Minyonim commence to enable another Oveil to also avail himself of the Omud, which is a Incredibly Huge Zechus, and then the Minyon has a way of continuing after 11 months.
Nobody understood what Gavra is talking about its quite hilarious!
147, it is a big zchus not to fight or make a break-off minyan and allow someone else to daven from the omud. don’t forget the origial minhag ashkenaz was that only one person say kaddish (still practiced in Breuers – and other places – today). Brov am hadras melech overrides someone’s “need” to daven from the omud or say kaddish.
