How long after opening a bottle of wine will it still be good? I remember seeing that wine lasts for 24- hours or so the problem is that most people dont finish a bottle of wine immediately after opening it unless they are serious drinkers or theres a few drinkers at the table so what do you do when you open a bottle for kiddush and know that you wont be finishing it at that seuda?

Dry red wine IMO gets bad already by the next day. Though most people can’t tell the difference either way, so you could probably use it for a couple weeks.

Explain please? Is there some special way to keep wine?
September 13, 2012 6:49 pm at 6:49 pm #896538besalelParticipantwine is good for about 24 hours and drinkable for about 48 hours. if you put it in the fridge you can squeeze a whole week out of it and maybe a little more. of course you need to let the wine warm up to the desired temperature before you drink it.
