I’m curious – my wife lived in Brooklyn before we were married, and I drove up from Baltimore. I know of another couple that met when the boy went from the states to England for a wedding.
How far did you (or your spouse) travel for your shidduch?

Not far at all. We both lived in Brooklyn (although we first met in Staten Island). From my house to her house (or vice versa) on Shabbos was a forty five minute walk.

My husband and I met randomly in Boston. We continued to date in Boston while we were both there; then he left for law school a six hour drive away from me. He rented a car to visit me since he was 25 and I wasn’t. However, I think I win the prize on this one since I moved upstate after I graduated college to live closer to him before we were even engaged. Basically, I spent the winter in upstate NY and the summer in Las Vegas because of my husband’s career– that’s how you can tell I really love him!!!
Two hour drive. He came to me the first few dates, then I went to him.
Perhaps the better question is “How far would you travel for your spouse?”
