With Trumps ban on migrants from Muslim countries looking like it may be supported by the Supreme Court, it seems the world is slowly learning that “enough is enough” as Theresa May famously said. But it may be too little, too late. What about the Muslims already inside Western countries? Even “moderate” Muslims may be moderate only in action but are not too against terror. Even secular Muslims may have a “BT” kid. The danger is obvious. If you were President or PM how would you deal with it?
This is the Millon Dollar/Pound/Euro question. The only effective way is what the Israelis do. But uber-PC Europe and even Trump’s White House can’t get away with that. Civil liberty is the holy grail. We just have to get used to armed police and troops on the streets, and security checks to go into shopping malls.

This might be done by allocating a geographic area and setting up large estates with nice mansions, and requiring the terrorists to live there in order to receive their benefits.
This would be far cheaper than the hundreds of billions of dollars currently being spent on the military and defense industry.

You didn’t get the memo…at least for the past few days, the Trumpkopf-in-Chief has been listening to his lawyers and calling it an interim suspension of visa issuances to residents of high risk countries” rather than a “Muslim Ban”. If he reverts back to his old language, even the Supreme Court will tell him to go back to Mar a Lago and take a cold shower. Logical security safeguards are essential; those based on optics or nominal association with a religious belief will never pass muster here in the U.S. or Europe.
Like prove you’re a terrorist by conducting at least one mass causality event? Or prove you’ve done one in the past. And get your McMansion.
There are a lot of smart, highly-paid people fighting terrorism now. They could certainly figure out how to keep the mansions out of the hands of fake terrorists.
Those lot of smart highly paid anti-terror people clearly think your idea is bonkers, as they’ve not proposed anything of the sort.
