    Which brand is the best option for me: HP or Dell?

    Thank you, by the way, for your help in regards to laptop screen size!

    Based on the feedback here, I purchased a laptop with a 17in screen, and I love working with the larger 17in display 🙂

    So here is the deal, I recently purchased a 17in Dell AMD FX-9800 laptop. Performance-wise, it’s slow (super sluggish when I was working on multiple Word files, and periodically going back and forth between a dozen Internet browser tabs). Thus, I will be returning it, and B”H, I am able to do so.

    What’s the deal between Dell and HP?

    Why do people like HP over Dell? And vice versa?

    I think that I already asked this question… Anyway, new thought!

    What if I get a more powerful 15in laptop, and a monitor? I already use a separate keyboard for my laptop, so it’s not like I need it right in front of me. A 15in is easier to travel with, at least. Though, this is something that I want to keep at home.

    Does anyone here use a 15in with a monitor at home?
