did anyone ever find out who you really are???
what was your reaction???
it was so scary. see, ive always hidden behind a mask of regularness. Then one day someone very plump realized my brillliance and exposed me to the world.Then I had to start acting smart. It wasnt hard but I ve learnt my lesson. Keep urself very well hidden
no one yet! i hope it will never happen.
I told them before they could figure it out. However, there is someone who I was very sure I figured out, and he denies it!

Meh. Someone on the boards figured out who I was. No real big deal, I suppose. Most people that I know are trustworthy enough to be discreet.

I also think I figured out a friend,but as soon as I mentioned it,the person changed the subject.
That was my cue to drop it like a hot potato.
You seem intuitive in general,so I’m sure you agree.
I am still trying to discover who I really am.
self-discovery can be a long and difficult journey. You might want to see a good psychologist sometimes they can help with finding yourself.

i used to work in a school and someone in the CR saw i wrote something about a school not directing it to theirs and went and told the principal what i said. yes i did say it out of context as to why i wouldnt send my kid to that school for a few reasons but i wasnt putting the school down. this is what happens in my community…everyone has a big mouth and things get out of hand. B”H im not friends with these people anymore.
another thing is netzor leshoncha mera. Just because some ppl hurt you, there is no reason to go and say everyone in your community has a big mouth
cucumber-majority of the people do. everyone has to know everyone else’s business. its very very sad. oh and once one person knows something then the big rebbeim in my community have to know it too!

no i do but im working hard on myself not to. but i dont go to the rabbis and say whats going on

i know who you are 🙂 i think youre the only one here who knows me. i dont really care if people know who i am, but im a little bit less scared to voice my opinion when people dont know its coming from me….
I have several acquaintances here in the CR who know who I am, and many others that know my screename even thought they are not CR members. I stand by what I say, and I am not scared of people knowing who I am.

anonymrs- agreed!!!! there are a bunch of people who figured out who i am (I have absolutely no clue how!) and now i don’t feel as comfortable posting so much… Know the feeling.

Several people have figured out who I am. I was surprised it took some people so long. I was even more surprised by someone who hadn’t figured it out.

Two people figured out who I was and I confirmed their suspicions. I still feel just as comfortable posting as before. I don’t post anything I wouldn’t tell them in real life anyway.

haha! I just was BUSTED by my daughter! she’s the one who introduced me to the YWN site.
I had written a comment on one of the news articles on the YWN home page, & she asked me (on facebook) if I’m ‘always here’. then she said: ” i hope you don’t mind i found you out on CR!!! did you write very personal things? i really dont go on there, but maybe now i will!! j/k”. hmmm…

haha, tbt! I wouldn’t leave cuz of that, nor change my screen name. I’m open & honest about everything, here & IRL, so I have nothing to be embarrassed about. & she already knows I’m blabby.. & loves me no matter what 🙂 … now my DH on the other hand… that would be an ‘oy’!!

i think they say that within jewish world, we almost all know each other by 3 steps – meaning, the furthest we would have to go in jewish geography is i know a who knows b who knows you. weird.

lol that’s funny. I was once reading one comment that sounded so much like someone i knew. i tried to ask her, then i realized i wouldn’t want people to know who i am-it’s much more fun when it’s anonymous!:D
I called someone and ask if that’s their screen name and the person was laughing so Hard that I figured it out We are very close and know each other well.
Whoever can prove that they know me gets a prize.
None of this “I know you” and then disappearing behind another screen name…
