I had to laugh.
There is a fellow in the mir who made it his job to teach yiddish t the uneducated masses. He has done this by writing a book, generally writing signs in yiddish.
This week he put up a d’var toira explaining why klal yisroel “oisgehert” moishe rabbeinu. The only problem is that k’lal yisroel “tzu herred” mosihe, not oisgehheret.
It’s a pity people don’t learn things before teaching them.
Zushy- I think he did mean oisgehert. Like my brother told me “I heard you, I’m just ignoring”
Yes, I oisgehert
You oisgehert, but do you *DA*oisgehert?
gezuntheit
Gamanit, du host mich nosht oisgehert. He had an english transaltion which read “listened to”
Did you make a conscious decision to laugh? Or did you HAVE to?
