I hear that in regard to shidduchem its really called broken telephone…. Whos with me….

Yes, you will not get good information by asking strangers.
The best way is to ask the person themselves, once you have a relationship. Unfortunately, there is a view- which was expressed on this forum some time ago- that it is ok to hide things from your potential spouse.
This will lead to many broken homes.
NEEDIDEAS- With shidduchim its not broken telephone. Its usually intentional misleading information and/or not giving all of the information. But honestly, I dont have the patience to discuss this topic again. It can go on for days….
